The rules and format of investigations

 

All the investigations that we under take are researched by one member of the group who acts as a go between and negotiator with the owners of the site and takes no part in the investigation. This person would normally man the video sound control room and be in charge of the timing of each session which are normally 30 min stints. All information researched before the investigation is kept from the rest of the group. The group are not told where they are going until 30 minutes before the start of the investigation and mobile phones are switched off at this time except for the negotiators phone for health and safety reasons people getting lost on route etc. The negotiator is in total charge and  takes all the final decisions on weather the stake out is cancelled and for what ever reason all experiments must be signed of by the negotiator before the start of the each session .

 

A debriefing session is held at the end of the investigation when all notes have been handed to the person who organised the investigation so there is no chance of Chinese whispers or Hear say and then the organiser may then impart what he or she knows about the building and the activity there .

 

Generally the stake outs are  split into two separate parts,  on one hand there is the spiritual side with clairvoyance and dowsing etc. Then the analytical approach  though experiments and observation photo’s, video, and sound we take great care not to chase  ghosts and spirits.  Each investigation is carried out in a calm and matter of fact way, after each stake out  all the information from the group which is in the form of written notes for each area in the building is correlated and matched to the video, photo’s ,sound clips taken on the night of the investigation any anomalies are checked and rechecked against the written observation  reports of the individual investigator and then a report is written and published.
